Product overview

Liquefied Natural Gas (LNG) is natural gas that has been cooled to approximately -162°C (-260°F), at which point it becomes a liquid and occupies 1/600th of its gaseous volume. This makes long-distance transport by specialized LNG carriers economically viable.
